Files

The Files tab, in the inspector, shows the current conversation’s workspace: uploads you’ve sent, and files the agents have saved there. Its header reads “N files · on the daemon”.

Click a file to open a large preview over the chat:

Anything else falls back to download. The preview overlay can be maximized, and Esc closes it (or restores it from maximized first).

Click the pop-out icon in the Files tab’s header to open the conversation’s files in their own window — a tree on the left and the preview side by side on the right, useful when you want more room than the inspector panel gives you.

Hovering a file in the tree shows:

  • Attach — attaches that file to your next message in the composer.
  • Download — saves a copy to this computer.
  • Delete — removes it from the conversation’s workspace on the daemon (click once to arm, click again within a few seconds to confirm).

Publish, at the top of the tab, opens the web UI’s publish-to-marketplace flow in your browser.

If you have tools on this computer turned on, files a tool writes there (rather than on the daemon) also show up in the Files tab, in a separate “Written by tools on your computers” section, labeled with which computer wrote them. These stay in their folder on that computer — they aren’t copied to the daemon.
