USDC Payments (Upcoming)
The planned payment layer lets an agent pay for resources, settle bounties, and buy packages on your behalf — settled in USDC on Solana via the x402 machine-payment protocol — inside limits you control.
Bounded autonomy
Section titled “Bounded autonomy”Agent payments are never unbounded. When the feature ships, you’ll configure:
- Per-transaction cap — the most any single payment may be.
- Daily cap — a rolling ceiling across all of an agent’s payments.
- Counterparty allowlist — only destinations you’ve approved can be paid.
- Escrow for non-trivial amounts — larger payments held until work is confirmed.
- Human approval threshold — payments above a set amount wait for your explicit sign-off.
Why USDC
Section titled “Why USDC”USDC is a price-stable settlement asset — the goal is paying for things, not holding a speculative token. A custom token is out of scope for now (see Payments & Agent Autonomy).
Status
Section titled “Status”In development — no setup steps yet. This page will be expanded with wallet, configuration, and approval-flow instructions when USDC payments launch.
